The fantastically popular band who played at The Superyacht Cup 2007 to a crowd of over 2,000 party-goers are returning to SYC Palma again this year to play at the final night’s Prize Giving Evening. The band includes four of the most famous musicians in the business, all of whom have accompanied in their time some of the greatest names in popular music. Their repertoire consists of more than 300 of everyone's favourite songs covering 4 decades of rock, and with their wonderful sense of fun on stage, the World Famous Red Sox are sure to be a hit again.

The Prize-Giving Evening this year will follow a much more relaxed format than in the past; no formal seating arrangements but top-quality ‘finger food’ prepared at various ‘show cooking’ stations. Guests will have the chance to mingle more freely and will be treated to a wide selection of the best local and international dishes. The elegant setting at Es Baluard Museum, the fine food, excellent wines and great music will make it a truly memorable party to bring The Horus Superyacht Cup 2009 to a close.

The number of confirmed entries for The Horus Superyacht Cup continues to rise, with 18 places on the dock already reserved. The latest yachts to confirm are Holland Jachbouw's 46m ketch 'Windrose', the 27m Jongert 'Ithaka' (Jongert 27m) and as more and more yachts return from the Caribbean, Palma is filling up fast!
